YEAH! We are happy to have been selected for the next Mostra Illustratori at the 54th Bologna Children's Book Fair with the not-yet-born book project An Ice-Cream a Day by Caterina Gabelli and Sara Maragotto. It tastes like mixed feelings, weird tastes and silly synesthesia.
We have been working on a special personal project that explores a unique and very personal fashion collection, in close collaboration with Daniele Bellonio and the photographer Mattia Balsamini.
In this article for Pixarthinking (ita) Alfred Agostinelli depicts the backstage atmosphere and the first phase of this on-going process, with some cropped images from the two-day shooting of last December in Bra, Piedmont. Many thanks to Patrizia Fissore's family for the kind support.
Glad to have been part with our work of one of the finest exhibition of the last period: Orlando Furioso 500 anni _ Cosa vedeva Ariosto quando chiudeva gli occhi - at Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara (24th September 2016 - 29th January 2017), curated by Guido Beltramini and Alfonso Tura.
The three infographics about the crazy plot of the Orlando Furioso are by Sara Maragotto / SF in collaboration with tuta, and with the priceless consultation of Francesco Bernardi and Cristina Montagnani. More pictures here.
MINIMICRO _ Quel che non si vede, by Studio Fludd + scientist Giovanni Gabelli
NEW workshop at the horizon for the brilliant Montagna Disegnata series by Giulia Mirandola Progettazione at the brand new special place in the mountains called Il Masetto.
12-14 August / Holiday-Workshop all included. For all the details > Il Masetto website (ita) ISCRIZIONI APERTE!
NEW cover for VITA magazine - Montagna felix #07 issue, all about the renaissance of Italian mountain communities. We went for energetic textures on a positive growth chart. More about the making-of in this article by the art director Matteo Riva.
Glad to join two projects during the past Milano Design Week:
1. We have been selected by MATALI CRASSET to be part of the interesting and collaborative exhibition Reinventare un mondo comune at the Unicredit Pavilion.
2. Our paper objects were part of the brilliant SOFT HOME by Elle Decor Italia, warm and hi-tech living space created inside Palazzo Bovara by Marcante - Testa / UdA Architetti, with the support of H-ART for the interactive elements.
Thanks to everybody!
ALDO MANUZIO IL RINASCIMENTO VENEZIANO
19 March - 31 July 2016, Gallerie dell'Accademia - Venezia
We designed the exhibition graphics, the colours and an installation about the Hypnerotomachia Poliphili - the most beautiful book of the Renaissance - printed by the one and only Aldo Manuzio (1449-1515).
"An exhibition on how the book changed the world, and on how and why this happened in Venice, gateway between East and West. The leading figure in this revolution was a stranger, who came to Venice from Rome to rediscover ancient Greece filtered through Byzantium: Aldus Manutius. Between 1495 and 1515 he printed a hundred-odd editions of an unparalleled beauty, which actually created the modern book and publisher, and above all invented the reading public." > from www.mostraaldomanuzio.it
Curators: Guido Beltramini, Davide Gasparotto, Giulio Manieri Elia. Exhibition image: Leonardo Sonnoli (Tassinari/Vetta) on a Bartolomeo Veneto's painting. Exhibition design: Mauro Zocchetta.
